Assignment #12

The popularity of tattooing has increased dramatically, especially with teenagers. Some parents don't like when their kids get tattoo and some don't mind at all. And the reason that teenagers get tattoo is because of rebellion, peer pressure, and social status. Moreover rebellion is one of the many reasons why teenagers get tattoo. These days the children's  want to use piercing and tattoos as a form of expression and independence.Also they get it because to show their parents that they are not the boss of them they are their own boss and no one can control them.

• I feel that the strongest evidence that I have would be that most parents don't want their kids to get tattoo but these days kids don't listen to their parents they do what they feel like and think that they are their own boss. Most parents stress them self a lot because of their child getting tattoo.
• The weakest type of evidence would be that when they get married and have children of their own, who will also want to get a tattoo or other means of expression done on their body. The teenager who is now a parent will most likely tell them no, but just like they did when they were younger, their children will also still probably go out and get a tattoo. How is the parent going to explain that it is not the right time for it, if they themselves got one also at that age?

Assignment #10

Well, since this is a free essay I'm going to write about my high school year. During my high school year I really had fun with my friends, classmate and teachers. High school is something totally different it gives you a lot of memories to hold for ever and its the best part of our life. When I was in high school I went Thur the good and bad times. At first I thought high school was scary because people used to say that high school student will put student in trashcans and sell drugs or smoke, but when I was in high school I didn't see such a thing everyone was so nice and sweet. I didn't get to see people selling drugs or smoke. And when I was in high school I was with nice and smart people there was a good and bad group it all depends on you who you want to be with, and I choose the good group and was in honor classes and got all A and B grades. I had some friends who were not good they used to smoke and always come late to class. I used to tell them that its not a good idea to smoke in a such young age. Instead of smoking drink something good and go to your classes and make your parents be proud of you. Lastly, when it was my last year in high school I had so much fun, made the best year of my life. Had so much fun with my friends we cried because we knew that after high school we wont be able to see each other as often we did when we were in high school. After my exams and final grades I started to have more fun with my other friends who were going to stay we did a lot of fun stuff such as pranking other students and taking picture where ever we went. So basically that's all I did with my friends and made my last year memorable

Assignment #11

1. I tend to struggle most with question mark. Sometimes I usually get  confused whether I should or should not use a question mark.  This error always cause me problem with  my writing because it is I'm not sure of it and if someone reads my writing they might think something about me. So basically I want to prevent this problem from happening in the future;I will to be more careful and use examples to not make the mistake again.
2.  Another problem that I struggle a lot with is putting my thoughts together while writing an essay. I really need to work on this, its causing me a lot of trouble. I'm sure that this might effect my writing because each time I write an essay I get lower grade. I will work on my essay and put my thoughts before hand so I don't have to worry about getting lower grade and explain more and more.
3. Lastly, the other error that I'm facing would be my words. I need to improve my vocabulary's and use strong words and make my essay more like an college essay. This will effect my writing because using words that is not a college level can be effective for my essays and it wont show that I'm a college student.I can improve this problem by using dictionary's more often and Internet to get better with my vocabs so I can use strong words on my next essay.

Assignment #9

What is true meaning of friendship? Well the true meaning of friendship is great relationship in the world than any other relations. Also we can share all things to our friends but not with our parents or someone else. A true friend is that when your sick he or she will always be there for you no matter what and share your pain,sorrow and moreover your happiness.Friendship is a feeling of comfort and emotional safety with a person. A unique blend of affection, loyalty, love, respect, trust and loads of fun is perhaps what describes the true meaning of a friendship. Similar interests, mutual respect and strong attachment with each other. A true friend is when he or she comes in the middle of night to wish you happy birthday and when your sad she will always be standing next to you. And there will be always a shoulder to lean on and know everything about you but still like you. And true friends wont let you do stupid things they will be beside you. A true friend doesn't care if your black, white, Asian, Mexican and lastly don't care if your fat or skinny.

Assignment #8

Well, after looking at both topics I wanted to talk about Free speech off campus must be protected by Frank D. LoMonte.
This topic is about how the laws are being made on students to be aware of what they say or what they put up in their daily life sites such as my-space, Facebook and many more. Frank used many examples from others experiences to people to be careful and watch out on what they put on their Facebook and other sites that they use the most. He also mentioned that a student from University of Minnesota had gone to court because she wrote that how her and her friends gave their cadaver a nickname and about stabbing someone with knife. Moreover, many people say that person could have been her ex-boyfriend and one of her classmate read those messaged and than forwarded them to the University of Minnesota authorities. Even though Tatro had no intention of hurting anyone, she was charged and disciplined. Well to me people can say anything they want to because its a freedom of speech no one can say anything to someone like Tatro posted something on her friends wall. And I picked this topic because everyone jokes around and say something but that doesn't mean that they have intention of doing something. I think students should not be charged for writing something on their friends wall like I mentioned on my previous people joke around they say funny things and call each other names that doesn't mean anything bad, but I guess now people should be more careful on what they say and to whom they say it. 
  

Assignment #7

~Well I feel like im making some progress I say that because I used have comma lace, fragments and run-on in my sentence, but now I no longer have that error. I have tried so many other writing skills just to improve my writing for my essay's and help me out through out the semester. The problem that I have is writing up to 3 to 4 pages I mean anyone can write up to 2 or half pages but no longer than that. ~The thing that I like about this class is when we peer review each others paper, I find that really helpful, when we did it at first it really helped me improved my essay another good thing about it was that we made three copies and read it out loud to each other. That's one thing that I really love about my class.
~One thing that I want to change about my class would be less pages in essay's and we should have more time to peer review our papers.
~ When it comes to writing I wait for last min I always do my essays at the night its due. I really need to change this habit of mine because I know its not going to help  when I have less time I'll write less and that's not helpful.

Assignment #6

The rhetorical situation of  my literacy narrative would be about mac makeup how useful it can be. The ad is describing Mac is expensive than other brand of makeups.  Moreover the audience for my literacy narrative is almost  for anyone well only the women and any age. The purpose of the literacy narrative is to show people how MAC can be used in so many different ways and it keeps your skin soft and clean. I myself use mac, it really doesn't damage my skin whatsoever. I describe it by saying how hard it was for me to find an ad and talk about it but, after talking to my friend it helped me what to write about and how to start off the ad. Finally, the tone for both essays are very different and hard to start of your writing. 

Assignment # 5

~Purpose-The purpose of this ad is to show people how  MAC makeup can be for anyone and how useful it is. There are lots of makeup different kinds and from different companies but I recommend "MAC"  . makeup covers up all of of things such as scars, buries anything that you have on your face and you want to cover it up. 

~Audience- The target audience for this ad is the people who likes MAC makeup. They are targeting people who think other companies of makeup is not good as MAC and really want them to try MAC.

~Genre-I learned that MAC can be used for any type of skin there is no need to worry about getting skin damaged or other things. Basically I myself use MAC for my skin and it remind me of others who want to try something more useful for their skin. I don't have much INFO because I know that there shouldn't be a lot of words on ads because people don't have much time to read it and if its very long they will get bored and stop reading the ad. 

~Tone- The tone for this ad is for everyone and to show others that using mac makeup is very good and harmfulness  and keeps your skin in a very good condition. 

Assignmetn #4

`My final paper looks a little different than my first draft because i added 
a little more details and changed the fonts and all that.
When I and my classmates were assigned in three groups for peer reviewing 
they told me to change a little bit. So basically I did like they told me
and made some changes and also I changed the run on sentence etc. 




`My classmate told me that I have a good start and I had a nice ending, which
made me happy because I wasnt happy with the piece of writing I had after
listening to my classmates I was happy because it shows that how I felt 
about writing.




`yes, after revising my essay I came up with a lot of mistake, and I also 
learned that I had some run ons and fragments which I did the changes 
after peer reviewing.




`My revisions was that it helps when we peer review each others paper 
because it helps us alot. For insistence, the writer doesnt know
if they made mistake so the person who is peer reviewing it makes
a lot of changes and tell us where we need to shorten the paragraphs 
or cut off some sentence. When we write our own essay its unnoticeble for 
us to know we made any mistakes and also we know what our essay going
to be about and know our tone.




`The strongest aspect of my essay was that how I compare myself with cooking
and writing. How cooking was like writing to me and how it changed it changed 
me to become better writer.
And the weakest would be that compareing something and also adding coma or 
cutting off run ons. 

Assignment #3 good papers

What makes a good paper is that you need to write about things that will make your reader interested and catch their attention! Moreover to have a good paper you need a good thesis statement and you need a strong theory to explain your idea, also your paper must be clear, understandable and free of any errors. Lastly you need a hypothesis and interesting topi

The differences between a C paper and an A paper is that C is the average it's not a good grade to have but still it's better than having a D or an F. For insistence a C paper is the meeting of all the requirements such as the organization, subject and the reflections. Also C paper is the individual papers that however can be weak and the idea or thesis they might have errors in grammar, spelling etc.

An argument: argument is something you need in any type of essay that you are going to do about. For insistence you must have a clear detail thesis statement.

And having an A paper is that mean you have everything right there is no mistake or errors. And having no grammar mistake or spelling! Getting an A grade on a paper means that the topic was fine and interesting for the readers and it really entertain the readers to read more and that student worked hard enough and receive high grade.


From all these the hardest for is argument essay i cant just sit there and start arguing that's something i cant do. I never wrote an essay arguing about something.

Blog Assignment #2

The topic that I find interesting would be COOKING, i can write many pages none stop about my first time cooking. This topic brings out so many memories to me; for insistence how I was using so many different ingredients and trying different things to make it taste good and look beautiful. I love to hear things about cooking and watch videos of it...

journal can be something that everyone write down their inner feeling and express their thoughts about something. The topic that I have chosen is a good topic when ever I'm free I write down things that I want to keep an memory of. Journal is something that people can express their emotions.

lastly, I love to listen to songs from different countries and write down some words that I don't know of and find the meaning of it. Music helps a lot of people to stay away from stress and other things. For example, there are people who have favorite song and when ever they are mad or sad they can listen to that song and calm them down. Music is a good thing for everyone and it calm's a lot of people.

Blog Assignment #1

The reason that I'm taking English 101 is because its required for every one to take and to pass it. English 101 give us the information that we need such as how to write and become better writer. For some reason i don't like writing because i'm use of typing and less writing and plus my hand writing is not that good. and now i'm taking this class so i can improve my writing and take more notes and ask a lot of question cause writing is not my thing. 
Moreover i think its important because, for insistence if your writing a letter for some one and you want your piece of writing to be neat, clean and lastly readable.
